There is a huge array of Munros, Corbetts & Donalds to choose from. All of these are achievable in a comfortable day's outing from The Silverfjord.

Both in the immediate area and further a field there is also a whole host of very fine, lower level walks, forest trails and short walks (notably The 3-mile Wildcat Trail just up the road in Newtonmore).

The Badenoch Way runs nearby, the spectacular Corrieyairack Pass is just a short drive away and the more challenging Speyside Way is just 20 minutes up the road in Aviemore.
