Road
Kingussie sits on the A9, gateway to the Highlands, and is a
roughly a two hour drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are 45 minutes
south of Inverness and its airport. The Silverfjord is located opposite
the railway station next to the Duke of Gordon Gardens which sit on the
High Street.

Rail
During
the day there are through trains from London on the east coast route
via York, Newcastle and Edinburgh, stopping at Kingussie, just opposite
The Silverfjord. There are also regular ScotRail services from both
Glasgow and Edinburgh also stopping at Kingussie station. Overnight,
you can relax on the sleeper service from London, Crewe , Preston and
Carlisle .

You can fly to Inverness - just under an
hour away, or to Glasgow or Edinburgh both of which are around 2 hours.
